Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a school setting near Silt, CO. This onsite role allows you to work closely with a diverse student population, providing Speech-Language Pathology services throughout the academic year. As a skilled SLP, you’ll help foster communication skills and personal growth in students, partnering with educators and families to offer comprehensive support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) with SLP endorsement required
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 student populations in a school environment
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services and communications
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support for students
- Remain apprised of developments in speech-language pathology practices relevant to the school setting
Details:
- Contract position starting mid-August through early June
- 37.5 hours per week, working on-site with students
- Manage a K-12 caseload; more caseload specifics will be provided soon
