Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical evaluations and comprehensive medical history reviews.
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical issues by analyzing imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Partner with surgeons in formulating and executing personalized surgical treatment plans for each patient.
• Provide vital intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, patient education, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis preferred.

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in the state.
