Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Riverhead, NY

Salary: $110 - $125 per hour

Position Overview:
A busy and growing practice in Riverhead is seeking an Optometrist to join the team. The role can start as part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as the practice continues to grow. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment , capable of handling a high volume of patients with the support of a technician , and committed to delivering high-quality eye care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations
• Diagnose and manage common vision and eye health conditions
• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team

Qualifications:
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience
• Strong clinical and patient communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinical environment with tech support

Position Details:
• Hourly compensation: $110 - $125 per hour
• Part-time to start with potential to become full-time
