Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Aberdeen, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift 1830-0700, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours a week, with the ability to pick up extra shifts.

Job Description: The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in emergency care to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to handle critical situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform triage duties and assess patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Washington State RN license or multi-state license.
• Proof of completed 6-hour suicide training.
• Verification of demographics from Nursys.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience as an Emergency Department nurse is essential.
• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required.
