Facility:
This well-established regional medical center provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services to the surrounding community. The facility features a robust department with 3 MDs and 3 APPs, supported by a dedicated team of RN/MA staff, navigators, and infusion RNs, as well as on-site radiation oncology services.

Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time locum coverage needed ASAP on an ongoing basis; will consider providers willing to cover 2-3 weeks per month
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch; overtime applies after a 9-hour day
• Must have Hematology/Oncology experience - not Medical Oncology only
• Bone marrow biopsies required
• 1:4 weekly hospital call rotation, Friday 0730 to Friday 0730
• Daily rounding required Monday through Sunday, 1-2 hours each morning, with additional weekday afternoon rounding from
• Cover acute leukemia patients and inpatient chemotherapy patients during call
• Clinic weekday call includes taking add-on consults and supervising chemotherapy patients for absent providers
• Each provider supervises their own patients in the Chemo Clinic
• Documentation required for post-Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post-CAR-T Cell Therapy patients
• Provider must utilize real-time Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS-based, as required by the facility
• Up to 15 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification required; ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
