Job Description
The Packer is responsible for inspecting, packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment while maintaining quality and production standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect finished products for quality, defects, and accuracy before packaging.
- Package products according to company specifications and customer requirements.
- Label, palletize, and prepare completed orders for shipment.
- Count, sort, and verify product quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with production line operations and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Meet daily production and packaging goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
