Our Southwick office is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.As a key member of our front office team, you'll help create a welcoming environment while supporting scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with patients, we'd love to meet you.Monday-Thursday 8:30 am to 5:30 pmResponsibilitiesWelcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impressionManage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accuratelySchedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experienceVerify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment optionsAnswer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer serviceSupport treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangementsMaintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all timesPartner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient careQualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment preferredKnowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindsetHighly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilitiesPositive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environmentExperience with dental software systems is a plus$20-$27/hourBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
