As a Food Court Team Member , you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that keeps our restaurants running smoothly and our guests coming back. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll help maintain the heart of our operation through dishwashing, sanitation, trash removal, stocking and transporting supplies, guest assistance, and general operational support. Whether you're helping a guest find their way, ensuring our kitchen has what it needs, or keeping our spaces spotless, your contributions are essential to the success of the entire team.

Requirements:

Essential Functions:

• Picking up and throwing away trash
• Must obtain an Alcohol Server Permit
• Escorting vendors, guests, and repair crews through the airport
• Picking up deliveries, and having them checked by airport security
• Driving supplies into the airport, as well as out of the airport.
• General transportation duties
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as directed.
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.
• Set up or break down dish-washing area.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as directed.
• This is a safety sensitive position. 

Responsibilities:

· Guest Satisfaction: Provide friendly, approachable service, ensuring guests feel welcome and appreciated.

· Table and Chair Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables and chairs regularly to maintain a safe and inviting dining space.

· Floor Cleanliness: Ensure floors are free of debris and spills at all times to promote safety and hygiene.

· Condiment Refills: Monitor and refill condiment stations to ensure availability for guests.

· Tray and Dish Management: Remove trays and dishes from tables, clean and sanitize them, and wash dishes and trays to support restaurant.

· Trash Removal: Monitor and empty trash receptacles promptly to keep the food court tidy and welcoming.

· Supportive Duties: Collaborate with team members to assist with various tasks as needed to maintain the overall operation and efficiency.

· Pride in Work: Exhibit a commitment to excellence, taking pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
• Must have valid Driver License
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be willing to follow directions and ask questions for clarification if needed

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a fast-paced restaurant setting and is frequently subjected to heat, steam, fire, and noise. 

Physical or Environmental Demands:  

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. All positions may require constant, frequent, or occasional: standing, walking, lifting, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: 

This is an hourly position. Scheduled hours vary by restaurant needs, including necessary adjustments during high and low seasonal changes. Typical days and hours of work for this position are Monday-Sunday 5am-12am (varying shifts). Other days/hours, including holidays, required as needed or assigned. 

Required Experience and Skills: 

Restaurant experience is preferred. Knowledge and understanding of relevant food safety and sanitation laws, principles, procedures, and practices. 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:  

1. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screening. 
2. Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check. 
3. Satisfactory completion of a background check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). 

Language Ability: 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business rules and technical procedures. 

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate information and respond to questions from management and team members. 

Other (Secondary) Responsibilities: 

Assist with other restaurant functions including other assigned duties as needed.
