Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Marketing, or senior growth leader to join our Board of Advisors. This role is focused on elevating the Healthcare Shares brand, expanding our investor base, strengthening relationships with founders, and building a high-quality healthcare innovation community. The ideal candidate understands both capital markets and startup ecosystems, and knows how to position a fund as a trusted platform for investors and entrepreneurs. Marketing efforts will focus on marketing to accredited investors and startups. Responsibilities Investor Marketing StrategyAdvise on positioning, messaging, and brand strategy to attract accredited investors, family offices, healthcare executives, and institutional capital. Community BuildingHelp design and grow a strong ecosystem of investors, founders, healthcare executives, and strategic partners through events, digital content, and curated experiences. Brand & Thought LeadershipShape Healthcare Shares’ voice across social media, newsletters, podcasts, webinars, and industry conferences to establish authority in digital health investing. Capital Formation SupportProvide strategic guidance on marketing materials, investor presentations, fund narratives, and communication cadence to support fundraising efforts. Founder & Portfolio VisibilityHelp promote portfolio companies to customers, partners, and future investors through storytelling, PR strategy, and distribution channels. Growth & Digital StrategyAdvise on content strategy, LinkedIn , paid media, email marketing, partnerships, and platform development to scale awareness and engagement. Ideal BackgroundExperience as a CMO, VP of Marketing, or senior growth executive in venture capital, private equity, digital health, fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startups. Proven track record of building brands, communities, and scalable marketing engines. Experience marketing to investors, executives, or institutional audiences preferred. Strong understanding of digital channels, content strategy, and performance marketing. Passion for healthcare innovation and venture investing.
