Job Description

Pay Range is $23-$26 an hour

The Intake Lead is responsible for coordinating project intake activities, including ERP (NetSuite) assessments, product ordering, sample preparation, and daily lab support. This position ensures client and project information is entered accurately, supports production readiness, and helps maintain efficient workflow execution. The Intake Lead works closely with the Production Supervisor and cross-functional teams to support safety, quality, service, and operational performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Enter project details accurately into internal systems and maintain detailed intake records and spreadsheets.
• Complete project intakes and ERP (NetSuite) assessments accurately and within required timelines.
• Prepare ordering templates and place product orders in a timely manner to support production schedules.
• Coordinate client sample preparation with production leadership, sales, and clients as needed.
• Partner with the Production Supervisor to support operational planning and day-to-day workflow execution.
• Provide daily lab and production support to help meet team goals, service expectations, and output targets.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, data integrity requirements, client security protocols, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Communicate production updates, quality concerns, delays, and workflow issues to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation in partnership with the Production Supervisor.
• Build effective working relationships across departments to support collaboration, customer needs, and delivery commitments.
• Support the timely return of client materials following production completion

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of experience in data entry, inventory, production operations, or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Working knowledge of operational processes and standard organizational practices.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and a highly organized approach to work.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to operate a power industrial lift and/or manual pallet jack for loading, unloading, and moving products.
