Work Environment This role is primarily remote, combining the flexibility of teletherapy with occasional in-person sessions in our outpatient facility in Santa Ana. Key Responsibilities Conducting individualized therapy sessions for clients, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based methodologies. Performing comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, concerns, and goals, and developing tailored treatment plans. Working collaboratively with clients to track progress and adjust treatment strategies to ensure effective outcomes. Providing culturally sensitive interventions that respect diverse backgrounds, ensuring every client feels understood and supported. Documenting sessions and maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with health regulations and organizational policies. Participating in regular team meetings and continuing education programs to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus In this position, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, bringing unique challenges and perspectives to therapy. You will provide support for a range of issues, including relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of clients will contribute to more effective treatment outcomes. Qualifications An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is required. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships. A deep understanding of and commitment to ethical practice in counseling. Preferred Experience Experience providing therapy to a wide range of populations, with particular expertise in couple and family therapy. Proficiency in teletherapy and utilization of digital platforms for client engagement and support. Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), or similar. Compensation and Benefits Calm Horizons offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
