Job Opportunity: Pathologist

Our organization is in search of a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist with training in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

The selected candidate will become part of a collaborative team consisting of six general, hospital-based Pathologists and two Pathology Assistants. This group is responsible for two community hospitals and several critical access facilities.

The workload includes a variety of cases such as biopsies, complex resections, and non-GYN cytology, with no GYN cytology performed. Responsibilities will also include providing frozen section coverage and attending fine needle aspirations to assess adequacy. Autopsies are infrequently conducted.

While specific subspecialty training is not mandatory, expertise in cytopathology or gastrointestinal pathology would be advantageous.

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a commitment to fostering positive relationships with clinical colleagues.
• A willingness to engage in clinical lab management and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards is required.
