Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (16:30 - 05:00). Weekends required.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ED serves patients ranging from low to high acuity, including those with Stroke, STEMI, trauma, and behavioral health needs. This role requires strong skills in critical care nursing and knowledge of emergency protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Handle a diverse range of medical emergencies, including trauma and critical care cases.
• Administer medications and manage IV lines for patients.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Must possess a valid RN license and all required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
