Lab Associate I - Phlebotomist

Additional Information About The Role Full Time - BENEFITS Monday and Friday, Rotating Weekends Evenings, 3:00pm-11:30pm Overview This position is in Phlebotomy. Role Purpose Performs non‑blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection. Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity. Coordinate a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuations in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times. Interact with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
