Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity:

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a global technology services firm.

You will turn complex datasets into business intelligence and strategic reporting that drives decisions. This is an analyst seat with expert SQL, not a data-engineer build role and not a junior reporting role.

What You’ll Do:

• Transform complex datasets into business intelligence and strategic reports.
• Write expert-level SQL to extract, join, and validate data.
• Build clear visualizations that turn raw metrics into decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to define the question, the metric, and the action.
• Operate in cloud data environments or with AI-assisted analytics where the team uses them.

Required Qualifications:

• 5–8+ years as a Data Analyst delivering production reporting and analysis.
• Expert SQL — complex joins, window functions, and performance-aware queries.
• Proven work with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
• Track record of turning metrics into decisions stakeholders used.
• Able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud data environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
• AI-powered analytics tools.
• Financial services, retail, or another regulated domain.
