Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Maine PTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to assignment start.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists and document per facility standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with post-acute care populations, transfers, gait training, and restorative programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 16:30.
• Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Typical weekly hours: 35 per week.
• Candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
