Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Ideal candidates are credentialed in New York (PT - NY) and bring a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of PreK and school-aged students. This is a full-time position, with 35 hours per week across five days, allowing for consistent interactions and meaningful relationships with your student caseload.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York (PT - NY)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse needs and abilities
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and schedules efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to PreK and school-aged students
• Assess, develop, and implement therapy goals in alignment with IEP requirements
• Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster a supportive learning environment
• Document student progress, updating plans as needed to reflect growth and continued needs
• Contribute to the overall success of the school’s special education program
