Area Sales Director/Manager – Healthcare Diagnostics Must reside in Austin or San Antonio We’re seeking an Area Sales Director/Manager to build and lead a new sales team in Texas for a rapidly growing laboratory sciences company specializing in toxicology and compliance testing. You’ll be both a hunter and a player‑coach, driving growth while leading your team from the front. The territory covers Austin, San Antonio, Lubbock, OK, KS. What You’ll Do Lead, hire, and develop up to 5 Regional Sales Managers. Spend 3+ days/week in the field with your team (ride‑alongs, coaching, celebrating wins). Drive 80% new business / 20% account management in pain clinics, behavioral health, and substance abuse facilities. Execute sales strategy and build long‑term client relationships. Partner with leadership on territory growth and revenue goals. What We’re Looking For 5+ years in healthcare/medical sales (diagnostics or medical device a plus). Previous Diagnostics and Management experience required Proven hunter with pipeline management and closing success. Strong leadership/player‑coach background (minimum 2+ years).
