Regulatory Energy Senior Associate/Senior Counsel

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel to join its Regulatory Energy practice in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in the energy industry, focusing on regulatory matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients in the energy sector. Duties Provide legal counsel on regulatory issues in the energy sector, including electricity, utilities, and renewables. Support clients in regulatory, legislative, litigation, and transactional matters. Represent energy companies and industrial users in negotiations and power purchase agreements. Advise on state and federal utility regulations. Requirements J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Excellent academic credentials. Experience in litigation, regulatory, and legislative matters for the energy industry. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) Certifications Valid authorization to work in the U.S. Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills.
