Job Summary And Qualifications The Behavior Health Quality Manager (BHQ Mgr.) at Research Psychiatric Center ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered care by facilitating the daily operations of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs at Research Psychiatric Center. This role manages all aspects of quality and risk with supervision and collaboration with the Research Medical Center (RMC) Quality Team and RPC Senior Leadership Team. The BHQ Mgr. is accountable for facilitating performance improvement activities, maintaining Joint Commission Standards and CMS conditions of participation, and collaborating with RMC VP of Quality and RPC senior leadership to develop, revise, and implement programs, initiatives, and improvement strategies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The BHQ Mgr. provides leadership with data analysis, incident response, and staff education to advance patient safety and control and minimize risks at the facility. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or health‑related field – Required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or health‑related field – Preferred. 3+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting – Required. 2+ years experience in healthcare quality/risk management – Preferred. Currently licensed as a registered nurse or health professional in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license – Preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – Required (Grace Period – 3 years or CHCQM). Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM) – Required (Grace Period – 3 years or CPHQ). Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP) – Preferred. CPI Certification – Required within 90 days.
