From day one, you will be a part of a team that is looking to transform the way we perform audits through the use of technology, learn about industry standards that help define and secure our clients’ control environments, and make recommendations to help them maintain compliance with applicable standards as required within the industry they operate.Qualifications:We are seeking college sophomores and juniors for the internship, pursuing degrees in one of the following preferred majors (or similar):Accounting and Information Systems (dual-track)Accounting, CPA TrackCandidates must:Have strong academic credentialsCPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license. Prior to starting full-time, new hires must fulfill the education-related eligibility criteria to obtain a CPA license in their assigned Crowe work location. These requirements vary by state, and it is the new hire’s responsibility to ensure that they satisfy the applicable criteria prior to starting with the firm.Be willing to travelHave a desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, self-study, and pursuit of accounting and audit certificationsBe capable of independently managing time and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environmentBe able to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences, such as company officers (CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs) and Audit CommitteesDesirable Pre-requisite Knowledge:Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationshipsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliar with auditing concepts (sampling, creating controls, testing controls)Eager to develop strong technical skills for technologies and applications our clients useWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
