Basic Job Functions:

• Maintaining shop work tickets, schedule equipment PM's, maintaining parts inventories and equipment repair logs.
• Administration of Maintenance Platform (i.e. MaintainX).
• Outage planning.
• Ordering and maintaining of all parts inventories.
• Assign invoices to cost centers and maintaining records of purchases.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Maintaining the check list for critical machines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One year experience or more in office administrations, including word processing, Excel and computer data entry required.
• High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 proficiency, preferred.
• Previous experience in purchasing department.
• Forklift experience
