Job Description Job Description Job Title: Concrete Finisher & Form Setter / Skilled Concrete Laborer Location: South Florida (Miami / Fort Lauderdale Area) Pay Range: $22.00 – $32.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturdays required based on pour schedules) Start Date: Immediate Opening About Rapido Construction Rapido Construction is an active, fast-growing construction company tackling high-volume residential and commercial projects across South Florida. We pride ourselves on executing solid, high-quality structural work on tight schedules. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who know how to work with mud, layout forms, and deliver a clean finish every single time. Key Responsibilities Formwork & Layout: Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal forms for slabs, driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and tie-beams. Pouring & Spreading: Direct the concrete truck chute, spread, shovel, and vibrate wet concrete into place quickly before it sets. Finishing: Use hand trowels, mag floats, screeds, and power trowels to bring the paste to the surface and execute clean finishes (broom finish, smooth finish, or stamped). Reinforcement: Place, tie, and support rebar or wire mesh according to project specifications. Site Care: Clean up forms, chip away excess concrete, patch voids, and maintain an organized, safe job site during and after heavy pours. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience laying, pouring, and finishing concrete. Tools: Must have your own basic concrete hand tools (trowels, floats, rubber boots, hammer, tape measure). Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 80 lbs consistently in hot, humid South Florida weather conditions. Reliability: Punctual and accountable. When a truck is scheduled for 6:00 AM, you must be on-site and ready to prep. Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites across the region. Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus, but not required if you understand field layouts and commands.
