Job Description
Part Time Office Administrator (25 - 30 hours per week) who serves as an important point of connection between our church, our congregation, and the wider community. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a heart for service, and a professional, welcoming presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact in person, on the phone, by text, or by email;
- Prepare and distribute church communications;
- Manage general office functions;
- Support the pastor and church leadership with administrative tasks as needed;
- Maintain church records and databases accurately and confidentially.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an administrative, office position, or customer-facing role preferred;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite or comparable programs;
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities;
- Alignment with the mission and values of a United Methodist congregation.
Compensation- $22 -$25 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
