About the Position

Are you an Interventional Cardiology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Fort Arkansas might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 5 days per month, Monday-Friday; coverage authorized through February 2027
• Job Setting: Inpatient
• EMR System: Epic
• Call Details: In-House Call and STEMI coverage; call response time 1 hour for in-house, less than 30 minutes for Emergency/STEMI; call ratio 100% in-house (from staff or hospitalists); average 20-25 calls per 24-hour period; 15-20 patients seen; no admissions unless STEMI (all admissions handled by hospitalist service)
• Support Staff Provided: 7 RNs, 7 MAs, 6 PA/NPs, 3 Office Staff
• Credentialing: 60-90 days; expedited credentialing may be possible with the right candidate

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS required
• Licensure: Active Arkansas license required (IMLC not accepted)
• Fellowship: Required
• Additional Requirements: Clean malpractice history and NPDB required
