Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required, first-time travelers accepted License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required STEMI and Stroke facility experience required Description: This position requires working three nights per week from 19:00 to 07:30. Staffing will include up to every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed. No call is required for this position. The department cares for a diverse patient population, including those with special care needs. The patient ratio is typically 4 patients per nurse. The facility encompasses various specialties such as cath lab and women's health. Emergency situations may include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. Nurses will manage a range of critical patients, including those with traumatic injuries. It is essential that candidates have experience with procedures and techniques common in emergency nursing, including management of ventilated patients and care of central lines. All candidates must have strong assessment skills and the ability to interpret diagnostic results effectively. This role will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
