This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, improving processes, and driving accuracy within a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close activities, reconciliations, expense management, and financial reporting while helping support operational and accounting efficiencies across the organization.What You'll DoSupport monthly close processes, including preparing and posting journal entriesMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsReview financial data and documentation for accuracy and compliancePrepare account reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid amortization schedulesAssist with monthly financial reporting and analysisPartner with departments across the business to resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding itemsManage and reconcile Raymond account statements to ensure timely invoice processingCollaborate with Raymond parent company accounting teams to resolve accounting discrepanciesServe as the primary resource for Concur expense and invoice processesReview and approve expense reports for policy complianceMonitor timely submission and approval of expensesProcess and batch expense activityHelp develop and improve Concur invoice workflows and processesAssist with audit preparation and annual audit requestsIdentify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements, and process efficienciesSupport additional accounting and finance projects as neededWhat We're Looking ForStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsComfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments and stakeholdersProcess-oriented mindset with an interest in continuous improvement and automationProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience working within ERP systems and accounting softwarePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2–3 years of general accounting experienceExperience with Concur Expense and Concur Invoice strongly preferredPrior industry experience in distribution, manufacturing, construction, or related environments is a plusWhy Join Pengate?Competitive compensation packageComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageGenerous paid time off and paid holidaysOpportunities for career growth, development, and internal advancementA collaborative team-oriented culture where your ideas and contributions are valuedStability of an established organization with the energy of a growing teamPengate Handling Systems is dedicated to being an Equal Opportunity Employer.
