Job Description Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from initial evaluation through settlement, mediation, and trial. Draft and prepare briefs, settlement offers, discovery motions, motions for summary judgment, and trial‑related motions. Take and defend depositions involving clients, witnesses, and experts. Interview clients, evaluate case details, identify legal issues, and develop effective litigation strategies. Prepare cases for trial through witness interviews, evidence development, investigation, and case organization. Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their interests throughout litigation. Prepare and file complaints, motions, discovery, and other court documents. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, insurance representatives, and other parties. Prepare clients for mediation and settlement conferences while keeping them informed throughout the litigation process. Research legal issues and develop persuasive arguments that advance case outcomes. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license and membership in good standing. 3+ years of personal injury or general liability litigation experience. Strong experience with legal research, writing, motions, discovery, and depositions. Ability to manage a substantial and complex litigation caseload. Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills. Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, and client‑focused approach. Plaintiff‑side personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
