Quick Facts: Location: 402 East 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805 Start Date: 07/17/2026 End Date/Duration: Open-ended, with initial coverage from 08/19/2026 to 08/31/2026 Shift: Primarily scheduled 8-hour weekday shifts; weeknight call; 24-hour weekend holidays Hours/week: Full-time, flexible based on coverage needs Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Minnesota medical license, Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Experience: Prior GI procedure experience required; EUS procedures may be optional depending on candidate Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (additional reimbursements for travel, licensure, certifications where applicable) Benefits: • Competitive pay packages • Weekly pay via direct deposit • Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) • Robust referral bonus program • Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws • Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do: Provide advanced GI procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Flex Sig, etc. Cover inpatient and outpatient hospital services Manage 24-hour call responsibilities including weekends and holidays Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols Support department needs with procedural and consultative services as required What You Need: Minnesota medical license or eligibility for licensure Certification in Gastroenterology by ABIM or equivalent Minimum 2 years of GI procedure experience, including ERCP and EUS (preferred but open depending on candidate) Strong procedural skills and ability to handle 24-hour call shifts Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This position is with a leading facility in Duluth, Minnesota, providing comprehensive GI specialty coverage, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures. The role requires dedication to quality patient care and flexibility to support 24-hour coverage, weekends, and holiday shifts.
