About the RoleWe are looking for a Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of an engineering team focused on supporting our Fabrics supply chain. You will work hands-on in our manufacturing area to identify and drive opportunities for problem solving and continuous improvement in alignment with our plant goals centered around profitable growth.This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.Pay and Benefits:$110,000 - $147,000 per yearFactors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.Medical, Dental and Vision benefits effective on Day 1 of employment! More details are available at ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations in the manufacturing area by monitoring process data and metrics, investigating issues, and developing and executing on action plans for problem solving and continuous improvementUnderstand critical process parameters to ensure the process reliably delivers fit for use products that meet all specifications and customer requirementsPlan and execute technical work using statistical techniques including Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)Apply formal problem-solving techniques to determine root cause of process, product, and equipment issues and develop and implement corrective and preventative action plansPartner cross-functionally to validate changes and scale-up new productsCreate procedures and provide training and coaching to other technical and manufacturing associatesDocument work via technical reports, presentations, and the quality system Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong history of leveraging critical thinking to drive problem solving and continuous improvement activitiesDemonstrated ability to apply engineering fundamentals and statistical tools to drive development, optimization, and troubleshooting activitiesAbility to prioritize, plan, and drive work to completion against agreed upon timelines and deliverablesProven history of documenting and communicating work effectivelyDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team, including influencing across functionsAbility to travel up to 5% of the time Desired QualificationsExperience with lamination, coating, or imbibing processesExperience with web handlingThis position requires access to export-controlled areas and information.
