Overview The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty position on the clinical track, assistant professor rank, to serve as a Forensic Psychiatrist at forensic facilities serviced by the Department. This position will be responsible for providing forensic psychiatric care and treatment. Responsibilities Provide forensic psychiatric care and treatment at forensic facilities serviced by the Department. Supervise residents, forensic fellows, and medical students; participate in fellow, resident, and medical student education activities in the department. Contribute to the educational program by participating and presenting at psychiatry grand rounds, continuing education conferences as appropriate, and psychiatry didactic series in medical student education. Participate in departmental initiatives and education activities, including the annual fellow interview process and the subsequent ranking of applicants, with verbal and written assessments.
