We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Project Manager to oversee and execute I&C projects from preconstruction through commissioning and final turnover . This role requires strong technical expertise, project leadership, and the ability to coordinate with engineering teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to successfully deliver complex industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing instrumentation and controls scopes within industrial, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing environments and possess the ability to drive project schedules, budgets, safety, quality, and field execution .

• Manage all aspects of I&C project scope from kickoff through commissioning, startup, and turnover

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and execution strategies

• Coordinate with engineering, VDC, project teams, and field personnel to ensure accurate installation and project delivery

• Oversee procurement and coordination of instrumentation, control panels, electrical equipment, and related materials

• Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders

• Lead project meetings and provide reporting on cost, schedule, progress, risks, and project performance

• Partner with superintendents and field teams to improve productivity and maintain project milestones

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications

• Support commissioning activities, loop checks, system startup, and troubleshooting efforts

• Identify project challenges and implement solutions to maintain schedule and performance goals

• 5+ years of experience managing Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) projects

• Experience working in industrial electrical construction, mission-critical, or complex project environments

• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, automation, and process controls

• Ability to interpret and understand P&IDs, control schematics, electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams

• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, manpower, and subcontractor coordination

• Strong understanding of construction processes, field execution, and commissioning activities

• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project deadlines

• Experience managing projects within data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments

• Experience with mission-critical construction projects

• Knowledge of industrial automation systems and control integration

• Experience supporting startup, testing, and commissioning activities

• Hands-on project leader with strong field presence and execution focus

• Individual who takes ownership of projects and drives measurable results

• Strong problem solver who can make quick decisions and keep projects moving forward

• Collaborative leader capable of working with engineering teams, field crews, vendors, and subcontractors
