We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Wilson, North Carolina.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager specializing in Business Development & Training. The ideal candidate will lead strategic sales initiatives, identify and develop new business opportunities, and support the training and development of the sales team to ensure consistent growth and performance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to driving revenue and building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development strategies to expand market reach and generate new revenue streams.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to achieve targets and enhance their professional capabilities.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales planning.
• Develop and execute sales plans and training programs tailored to individual and team performance needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and organizational goals.
• Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance against set targets.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, promoting products and services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or additional certification in sales management or business development.
• Experience in corporate training or Learning & Development.
• Knowledge of the industry relevant to the company's products/services.
• Experience managing remote or distributed sales teams.
• Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
