Overview

We are seeking an Infrastructure Administrator for a 90-day contract with a multi-location organization. This role sits between the help desk and the senior IT administrators. It handles escalated issues, resolves what it can, and passes along clear findings when senior support is needed.

The right person has a solid help desk foundation, troubleshoots independently, and enjoys working with people across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of escalated support tickets and work them to resolution
• Troubleshoot network, end-user, and system issues across corporate and remote locations
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure users and services
• Research unfamiliar issues and find solutions independently
• Escalate issues to senior administrators with clear details when needed
• Create documentation for recurring issues so the help desk can resolve them going forward

Qualifications

• Help desk or desktop support background with experience handling escalated issues
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Working knowledge of networking and network troubleshooting
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Available for a hybrid schedule in Oak Brook, IL, with Tuesday and Thursday on-site
