Registered Nurse – Nicu

Schedule: Minimum of 4–5 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per 6-week schedule Minimum of 2 Friday shifts per 6-week schedule 2 mandatory call shifts every 6-week schedule

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements: 2 years RN experience Required certifications: BLS, NRP Preferred: STABLE EMR: Experience with EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level II NICU setting. Conduct assessments and interventions to stabilize and prepare patients for transfer when necessary. Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization as needed. Monitor and manage feeding support, including bottle, breast, and gavage feeding. Educate patients and families on care plans and provide support for neonatal abstinence syndrome. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 12 hours, plus pre-start EMR modules Pre-start modules: 10–15 hours total, due by Monday 1 week prior to start Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only; COVID-19 vaccine not required Multi-state licensure may be required depending on patient assignments
