Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Medical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Operate and manage PCA pumps, IV pumps, and medication drips
• Maintain and access patient records using Meditech EMR
• Perform and assist with central line care and management
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and Patient Care Technicians across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently
