Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Summary Responsible for all phases of Accounts Payable predominantly within FSA's agency accounts. Brief Description Job title: Accounts Payable Clerk Reports to: Accounting Manager Department: Accounting FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position Summary: Responsible for all phases of Accounts Payable predominantly within FSA's agency accounts. Expected Hours of Work Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm with the occasional need for work on Saturdays (during month and year end financial closings) and additional overtime, as needed. Essential Functions All phases of Accounts Payable including review and verification of invoice submissions, daily data entry, weekly check run and ACH payment processing and filing Reconciliation of vendor statements and general ledger Month-end accrual journal entries and posting to general ledger Year-end 1099's Special projects as requested by management Education and Training Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field. Desired Qualifications Minimum 4 years General Ledger accounting experience in a multi-company environment ACCPAC experience preferred Excellent calculator and computer skills including email, MS Excel and Word Ability to work independently, prioritize work to meet strict deadlines and execute tasks with great attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and efficiency Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment.
