Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care (LTC)

LPN – Nursing

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM - Two days on, two days off, three days on

Contract Length: 143 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 84 hours biweekly

Requirements:

• Current license in state
• BLS (AHA) - Required
• Nursing home experience - a plus
• New grads welcome to apply
• Knowledge of medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, reporting and recording

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer and record medications and treatments, and monitor resident responses.
• Accurately transcribe physician's orders and complete monthly summaries as scheduled.
• Review and update care plans with nursing assistants.
• Notify the RN Supervisor of significant changes in resident conditions.
• Assist physicians during rounds and examinations.
• Document and report changes in resident conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:

Dress Code: Any colored scrubs, clean shoes in good repair, no open toe sandals, and maintain a professional appearance.

Must maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.
