Emergency Medicine | San Antonio, TX | 1099 | Freestanding ED | 120 hrs/month

Multiple EM physician openings at a full service freestanding emergency department in San Antonio, Texas. This is a modern, standalone ED backed by a major health system with immediate access to radiology, laboratory, and telemetry on site. Critical patients are stabilized and transported to a full acute care hospital within the same network when hospitalization is needed.

24 hours of physician coverage with 12 hour shifts (6a to 6p, 6p to 6a). 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage daily. 1099 status with up to 120 hours per month available. Meditech EMR. Full malpractice coverage included.

Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD or DO), EM residency trained. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage acute medical emergencies in a fast paced environment with sound clinical judgment.
