As we continue to grow and expand, Blaine Brothers Baldwin, WI has an opening for a technician (preferred 1-2 years experience) in our Diesel Truck and Trailer Shop. We are looking for someone detail oriented, with a strong mechanical aptitude, and strong work ethic. The job handles the complete repair and maintenance of semi-trailers and heavy-duty trucks. SCHEDULE: 2nd shift (3pm-12am), Monday-Friday- 2nd Shift Pay Differential! WAGE RANGE: $25- $40/hr (varies based on skillset and experience) ESSENTIAL DUTIES Perform repair on diesel trucks Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; make adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units Inspect the overall condition of trucks to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements Compile inspection reports detailing their findings Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements Ensure the final work product meets quality standards Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-worke Requirements We'd love to have you as part of our team.
