Sr Mechanical Design Engineer Exempt

Join our team in Danvers MA where youll be at the forefront of innovation and design in mechanical engineering. Were seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to contribute to exciting new programs such as Triton Sensight Next Generation Sensight expansion Micra Voyager and others.

Top Technical Skills Required:

• Electromechanical design of machinery
• Design of tooling dies molds jigs or fixtures
• Proficiency in SolidWorks design environment with experience in PDM environment

Education and Experience:

• BSME preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Work Schedule and Location:

• 40 hours per week
• Onsite only in Danvers MA

Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team you will:

• Research plan design verify validate and develop mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems.
• Recommend technology options or approaches for system process facility or program improvements in terms of safety performance efficiency or costs.
• Manage the transfer from R&D to manufacturing as needed.
• Deliver and oversee projects from design to implementation adhering to company policies and utilizing specialized knowledge and skills.

Autonomy and Impact:

• Work independently under limited supervision to develop solutions.
• Contribute to the completion of work group objectives by building relationships and reaching consensus on assignments.
• Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations on process improvements.

Communication and Leadership:

• Communicate with senior internal and external customers and vendors to exchange information and influence decision-making.
• Provide guidance coaching and training to other employees within the job area.
• Manage projects requiring delegation of work and review of others work products.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and experience.
• Practical knowledge of project management is a plus.
• Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
