Accepting applicants in the career path level I, II, or III.Job SummaryResponsible for machine maintenance to ensure the machines are operating correctly.Essential DutiesHave a good understanding of manufacturing equipment and how it worksBasic electrical safety and some skills to fix common electrical issuesBasic welding and fabrication skills and the safety surrounding that equipmentBe able to safely operate machine centered equipmentFamiliarity with a form of MMS softwareUnderstand production needsMaintain a clean work area and toolsMaintain welding equipmentMaintain and utilize a milling machine and a band sawRequired Skills and AbilitiesBasic mathematical calculation skillsAbility to read and follow oral and written instructionsDemonstrated mechanical aptitudeBasic computer knowledge, including familiarity with MMS softwareAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have the ability to operate lift equipment (pallet jack or lift truck and battery-controlled lifts)Can prioritize jobs and tasksBe able to safely use power tools, work on a variety of different types of equipment, and fix common problems quickly and efficientlyTeam orientatedSelf-motivated, can work with little supervisionGood trouble shooting skillsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalency DiplomaPhysical RequirementsStanding and walking 90% of the shiftCan lift up to 50 lbs.Can lower rolls of plastic film to the floor and pick them up with a power lift and place on machineBe able to push, pull, squat, bend or reach 80% of the workdayBe able to handle, grasp, and perform repetitive motionsHave eye/hand/foot coordinationMust be able to work in temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to 90+ depending on the season and the departmentBenefitsAs a family-owned and operated company, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family.
