Social Services Director Location: Eight Mile, AL Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center As a Social Services Director at Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well‑being and quality of life for our patients and residents. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Services Director to lead our social services team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of social services programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Responsibilities Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the social services team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Program Development: Develop and implement social services programs that address the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and residents. Quality Improvement: Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation, nursing, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care plans and effective communication. Staff Development: Provide guidance and support to social services staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. What We Offer Salary Range: $29.00-$34.00 per hour Benefits: PTO, Holiday Pay, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Voluntary Benefits Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: Experience in a social services setting in long‑term care, preferred. Level of Education: BSW; MSW. Additional Requirements: Licensed Social Worker in the State of Alabama.
