About the Role:
As a Level 1 Pre-Assessment Agent, you will provide support for diagnostic software and hardware issues related to automotive systems. You'll assist dealerships with troubleshooting, ensure accurate solutions, and escalate complex issues to the Technical Assistance Center. Your responsibilities include providing phone and email support, reviewing service requests, and offering guidance on software updates and module integration. You will stay updated on new vehicle technologies and use remote diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer troubleshooting and support for software and hardware issues to automotive dealerships.
• Review and validate Technical Service Requests (TSRs) and document solutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues professionally and promptly.
• Provide training to dealership technicians on software and system updates.
• Keep updated on new vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• ASE certifications in Electrical, Gasoline Engines, Diesel Engines, or L1 (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician with a focus on software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools, cloud-based platforms, and automotive diagnostics (e.g., scan tools, multi-meters, oscilloscope).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Skills & Experience:

• Troubleshooting electrical faults, reading wiring diagrams, and repair manuals.
• Use of diagnostic tools and ability to work with live data.
• Experience in OEM or Tier 2/3 technical support preferred.
