Senior Consultant, Regional Delivery, IMACS (Remote) The Institute for Health Modeling and Climate Solutions (IMACS), hosted by Malaria No More, is a center of excellence dedicated to building predictive intelligence for the world’s most vulnerable health systems. IMACS brings together advanced data science, artificial intelligence, and operational modeling to help countriesanticipate, prepare for, and respond to infectious disease threats. Working at the intersection of high-resolution data infrastructure, machine learning, and public health decision-making, IMACS partners with governments and global institutions to strengthen surveillance, sharpen early warning capabilities, and accelerate evidence-driven response. Program Context With funding from the Global Fundand in partnership with The Task Force for Global Health, IMACS is providing structured technicalassistance(TA) to strengthen national capacities for climate-sensitive disease early warning surveillance and response. Building on traditional surveillance, outbreak warning, detection and response systems, the TA 3 team will integrate high-resolution climate, meteorological, entomological, hydrological, and environmental data streams with established public health surveillance platforms. This integration will allow moreaccuraterisk mapping, earlierdetectionwindows for potential outbreaks, and proactive response planning.The Senior Consultant – Regional Delivery will drive the operational execution of this program across partner countries, ensuring that technical solutions are effectively translated into national capacity and sustainable institutional ownership. Role Summary IMACS is seeking a Senior Consultant – Regional Delivery with deepexpertisein capacity strengthening, technicalassistanceimplementation, and knowledge transfer. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of in-country engagements–from workplan development and stakeholder coordination through training rollout and cross-country learning exchange. The ideal candidate combines strong program management skills with the ability to translate complex technical blueprints into practical, implementable solutions within diverse health system environments. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end workplan development with national counterparts and oversee operational execution of scoping visits, needs assessments, and deployment activities. Ensure the operational feasibility of the CI-EWARS platform design byvalidatingassumptions against local infrastructure, data availability, and institutional readiness. Translate technical blueprints into implementable components and manage the national training rollout strategy to ensure sustainable ownership of surveillance tools by government partners. Design andfacilitatein-person and hybrid knowledge exchange workshops across technicalassistancecountries to share lessons learned, tools, and innovations. Work closely with country teams to support stakeholder consultations, key informant interviews, and field assessments that inform system design and adaptation. Coordinate with technical experts, Ministry of Health counterparts, and GlobalFundtechnicalassistanceimplementing partners to ensure alignment, reduce duplication, and foster collaboration across workstreams. Develop high-quality communication materials, including technical reports, presentations, and briefs for internal and external audiences. Travel internationally (~15%) to technicalassistancecountries asrequired. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Health(MPH), Epidemiology, Health Informatics, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of progressive professional experience in relevant roles. Demonstratedexpertisein technicalassistancedelivery, capacity strengthening, or program implementation within national health systems. Strong familiarity with health data ecosystems, national surveillance architectures, and the current landscape of AI and data analytics tools applied to public health. Proven experience managing or supporting technology implementation, digital health rollouts, or data platform deployments in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) settings. Track recordof leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept through implementation, with the ability to navigate diverse institutional environments and competing priorities. Exceptional ability to communicate across technical and policy audiences, translating complex data and system concepts into actionable guidance for decision-makers and frontline staff. Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with a bias toward practical, results-oriented solutions. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability torepresentthe organization externally and produce compelling materials for diverse audiences. Written and oral fluency in French is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government, technology, and global health sectors. Willingness and ability to travel internationally. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in global health, One Health, or data-for-development use cases, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa or other LMIC contexts. Track recordof designing and delivering technical training programs, bootcamps, or structured capacity-building initiatives for government or health sector audiences.
