As a Security Officer Hospital Security in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for staff, visitors, and/or contractors while supporting visitor management and directional assistance.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with hospital personnel and the public, helping to address questions, de-escalate tense situations, and relay requests for assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
