This super part-time position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in pediatric and educational settings, looking to provide targeted support and advocacy for a small caseload. The contract runs from ASAP through May 31, 2027, offering ongoing consistency for your students—and your schedule.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- NV Department of Education (DOE) credential required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with or interest in pediatric speech-language evaluations and therapy
- Strong knowledge of best practices in school-based SLP services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a select group of school-aged students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in and out of the classroom
- Accurately document progress and therapy outcomes, maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide ongoing support and advocacy for students’ communication goals
