Details Work in the OB ICU/Labor and Delivery unit of a Women's Hospital setting High-risk obstetrical unit with 24 beds Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1, including OBED triage Uses GE fetal monitors Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7P-7A Weekend rotation required Floating required as needed, including ability to float to the antepartum unit within Women's Services Call requirements to be discussed during interview Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience required High-risk obstetrical bedside training required Experience circulating in C-sections in the labor and delivery area required Experience recovering high acuity patients required Experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, and post-delivery recovery care required No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide bedside nursing care to high-risk obstetrical patients including labor, delivery, and recovery Assist with circulating duties during C-section procedures Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted Standard scrub color and dress code policies apply, including restrictions on nail styles, hair, tattoos, and visible piercings Facility follows a company-wide attendance policy American Traveler Job ID P-745666.
