Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Job Description: - Location: Dallas, TX - Unit: Labor and Delivery at a Women’s Hospital - Shift Details: - Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Weekend Requirements: Rotating shifts, to be discussed during the interview - Call Requirements: To be discussed during the interview - Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40 - Unit Highlights: - High risk obstetrical unit with 24 beds - Estimated Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 3:1 in OBED triage - Type of Equipment: GE fetal monitors - Documentation System: Meditech, CPN - Scheduling: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week - Floating Policy: As needed to the antepartum unit within Women’s - Requirements: - Must Have: - Minimum of 2 years high risk obstetrical bedside training - Experience circulating in c/sections in the labor and delivery area - Skilled in recovering high acuity patients - Preferred Skills: - Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate - Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, c/sections, d&c, post delivery recovery care - Dress Code: - Scrub Color: Standard hospital scrubs - Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next gen - Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer - Tattoos: Body art should be covered when possible - Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited - Attendance Policies: Company-wide attendance policy will be followed Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
