Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

Location: Denver, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM Shift

Job Description: We are seeking a Travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dedicated team. The selected candidate will work in a high-acuity environment providing care for patients during labor and delivery. Our unit is equipped with advanced technology and staffed with a collaborative team committed to delivering optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
Perform assessments and monitor the progression of labor.
Assist in vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Utilize electronic medical records (Meditech/CPN) for patient documentation.
Participate in the education of the patient and their family regarding the birthing process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1-year current acute care experience in Labor & Delivery.
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification.
Experience with Meditech is preferred.
PACU and OR experience is a plus.
